Today’s Verdict

Animal Kingdom is your quietest Disney pick right now

It's a moderate, manageable day at the Disney parks, with an average wait of 33 minutes across the four open Disney parks. Animal Kingdom is leading the pack with just 27 minutes average — usually the sign of a strategic re-park or simply an off day for the bigger crowds.

Hollywood Studios is your park to avoid right now, sitting at 43 minutes average. It is not catastrophic, but you will feel the difference if you park-hop later. If you can, save it for after 6pm when crowds typically thin out.

Practical move: if you have park hopper, start the morning at Animal Kingdom, knock out the must-do attractions before 1pm, then decide whether to swap parks based on the lunchtime data refresh. Avoid arriving at Hollywood Studios between 11am and 2pm — that is the peak wait window.

What these crowd levels mean

Low (under 20 min avg)

A dream day. You can walk on most attractions and rack up 12+ rides without breaking a sweat. Don’t bother with Lightning Lane Multi-Pass.

Moderate (20–30 min avg)

Normal Disney rhythm. Plan rope-drop for the top two rides, then stroll. Lightning Lane Multi-Pass useful but not essential.

High (30–45 min avg)

Expect 60+ minute queues for the headliners. Lightning Lane Multi-Pass strongly recommended — book at 7am for an 11am slot.

Very High (45+ min avg)

Holiday or school break day. Pre-book Multi-Pass at the 7am drop, arrive 45 minutes before opening, and consider a midday break.

🎯How we measure

We pull wait times for every operating attraction and compute a trimmed average. Closed rides don’t count. Refreshes every 5 minutes.
